AI identification at the time of listing suggested TAKARA, but this is not certain. As you can see in the photos, the hat can be removed. It is in quite good condition for a soft vinyl doll manufactured over 50 years ago. Personally, I believe there are very few of these in Japan. I have never seen another one.
