(The American version emphasizes the wizarding world, so it's "Sorcerer" instead of "Philosopher." It's a difference in how Nicolas Flamel is perceived.) At the time, the CD version hadn't been released yet, so I believe this is the first edition cassette tape. Stephen Fry's brilliant and beautiful British English is, of course, amazing, but his vocal range is genius level!!!! If I were to compare it to someone in Japan, it's like Koichi Yamadera (a famous voice actor) (≧∀≦) Even just in Chapter 1, Dursley, Petunia, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hagrid, people passing by in the town, the narrator, All the voices are different, and you can tell who's who, which is amazing!! Even though the characters keep increasing, all the voices are different, and they're exactly as you'd imagine – pure genius. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy, Snape, Quirrell, Ollivander, and many others Since it was released before the movie, the voices are exactly as I imagined, and I can only say it's brilliant. Furthermore, the pacing, intonation, and speed variations are god-level, and the feeling of being drawn into the story is incredible! I didn't want the tapes to stretch, so I transferred everything to MDs (MiniDiscs) before listening, so the number of times I played the tapes themselves is only "once, when I recorded them." I've kept them carefully, so they're almost unused, but please understand that they are personally stored and have aged since the purchase.
