A rare and exceptional instrument, the domestic Gallagher GL-15. While various companies in Japan sold copy models from the 70s, only this Kanda Shokai x Terada Gakki brand was officially licensed by J.W. Gallagher. This is the top-of-the-line all-solid wood model, with only 50 produced, and a list price of 150,000 yen at the time. Information is scarce, and it is now considered a phantom guitar. While there are some age-related scratches, there is no bridge lift or top bulging, and the neck is straight, making the sound and playability outstanding. Also, the neck has been reset, so the string height is about 2.2mm, and it's slim, making it very easy to play. The saddle also has plenty of height remaining and can still be lowered. There is no buzzing or dead notes. Valuable materials are used, and the overtones are superb. Despite its considerable resonance, it produces an unbelievably beautiful tone, making it a guitar you should play at least once in your life. The frets are 80-90% remaining and are shiny, and the pegs are also clean. The nut and saddle have been replaced with Tusq. Overall, the playing condition is quite good, and the fact that it remains in this condition is a miracle. However, due to minor scratches and wear, the history of neck reset (although improved), and the lack of a hard case, it is being offered at a bargain price.
