This is a handmade wooden landing net with a straight design. The frame is made of three layers (with an inner lining) and finished with urethane clear brush coating and polishing. While many nets use natural clear finishes to bring out the wood grain of Japanese ash, I tried finishing this one with paint. I'm looking forward to using it and watching it age into a tasteful cherry sunburst color.
