These are Air Force blue D-1A type nylon flight pants for the heavy zone, adopted by the US Air Force during the Korean War and mainly worn by bomber and reconnaissance aircraft crew members. Originally, they were meant to be worn as a set with the N-2A, making them quite rare. The incredibly deep navy color, which is the quintessential Air Force blue, is wonderful. The zipper opens and closes, and there is no major damage to the ribbing. There are no tears overall, and although there is red paint? (not blood) on the lining, I didn't see any damage or stains that would hinder wear.
