Founded as a jewelry store in 1875, BULOVA later entered the fields of pocket watches and wristwatches, becoming one of the leading American watchmakers of the 20th century. This individual watch is a valuable vintage watch from the 1940s, commonly known as the "Curvex." Its unique design, with a beautifully curved case back, provides an outstanding fit and wearing comfort. It was also known as a "driver's watch" because it could be read without moving the hand that gripped the steering wheel, by wearing it on the inner side of the wrist. The bezel also features fine detailing, creating a beautiful rectangular case. As indicated on the case back, the 10KGF (Gold Filled) case and the aged white dial are full of vintage charm. ● The dial shows signs of aging, but it does not affect visibility, and it has the character of a vintage watch that is approximately 80 years old.
