Although the anniversary of the end of the war has passed, quoting MacArthur's words, "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away," it seems that this doesn't apply to The Dramatics. Entering the 21st century, this miraculous comeback album was released from their old label, Volt. Both L.J. and Ron deliver performances that don't show a hint of decline, which is astonishing. Please take a look at the liner notes by the highly respected Master Jam for more details. Any further trite explanations from me would only diminish it, so I'll stop here. But just one thing. I was captivated once again by "Hello Love," a duet with L.J. from his solo album, Angel Sessions. I guess that's typical of a beginner like me. Yes.
