This is the AKG K712 PRO. I purchased it from a flea market site, and it was listed as having a broken plastic guide rail on one side. As you can see in the photos, the side rubber is still taut, and I've included photos with the ear pads removed, showing that the driver unit area seems to be fine. The ear pads themselves were replaced after I received it, and I've only used them for a maximum of about 20 hours. The problem is with the plastic plate, as shown in photos 9 and 10. It looked bad and I removed it since it didn't seem to cause any problems. I tried to remove it with nippers and a knife, and in the process, I badly scratched the crimped part at the bottom of the slider. It doesn't come off in its current state, and there are no issues with the headphones' operation. It's not even a part that's usually visible when using them, but I did scratch it badly, so please be aware of that. You can see the scratches clearly compared to the part in photo 8 (I apologize that photo 8 is a bit unclear). There are no issues with the sound. I don't feel any particular problems when putting it on my head due to the absence of that part. The original cable wasn't included when I bought it, so I'm including the genuine cable that came with the K702. There should be a 6.5mm conversion plug, but I can't find it, so I won't include it this time.
