I'm really glad I bought this product. It doesn't smell at all when the lid is closed, and I think it's one of the more stylish diaper disposal bins. I used 30L garbage bags with it. It has been washed and disinfected with hypochlorous acid water, but some odor remains due to the use of deodorizers and disposable diapers. The smell is completely contained when the lid is closed. It's normal for there to be a smell of waste when the lid is opened, so please understand this before purchasing. Instruction manual and deodorizer are not included.
