I was just using this with a neck pickup. Each pickup produces sound. Here are my impressions after using it. The sound has a good roundness to it. These Fernandes covered-type pickups (passive) seem less prone to feedback. Feedback techniques are easy to use. One common issue with sound creation, such as with distortion combinations, is that even if the initial distorted sound when strumming is just right, the feedback and sustain can be difficult to control. However, this wasn't the case here. I recommend this for those who want to extend the sound but don't want a sustainer. As an aside, I think Fernandes could have appealed to this need, and it's a shame that they were only known for their V-kei image. The body was also lightweight.
