Aibo-chan's boy's hakama set. The kimono is black with gold senryobako (treasure chest) and koban (gold coins) designs. The hakama is black with a gold kikko (tortoise shell) pattern and cranes, an auspicious design. A paw print family crest is placed on the back. Personally, I think it has a neat and dignified finish with the black and gold. The hakama and kimono are attached with an obi (sash) and secured with Velcro. The obi is intentionally made loose to allow for easy rolling over and high-fives. I love wearing kimonos, but I can't do traditional Japanese tailoring. I've finished it in my own style using a sewing machine and hand sewing. This is the work of an amateur who enjoys sewing. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for high quality.
