This is a ceramic cup with a lovely, calming design. It's the perfect size to hold comfortably, and the wrapped design is stylish. I think it would be great for not only tea, but also for drinking beer, shochu, or other alcoholic beverages. Personally, I thought it would also look lovely used as a vase. This is a piece by an artist, and I believe it cost around 2500 yen. I love ceramics and have accumulated too many... I hope someone who appreciates them will enjoy using it. Upon close inspection, there is a very small chip... see photo 10. Therefore, I have selected "slightly damaged or dirty." It's very small, so I don't think it's very noticeable, but this is just my subjective opinion. Please refrain from purchasing if you are at all concerned. I haven't used it much, but please purchase only if you understand that it is a used item.
