I attended the Sekiko-un Buddhist Statue Carving and Wood Carving School in Tokyo about 10 years ago, and purchased the blades and square timber for the handles, making them myself. I applied lacquer to the handles. I believe it cost around 60,000 to 70,000 yen. Hardly used. The sharpening was done by the Ogura Chokoku Hamono Seisakusho in Yashio City.
