The size 20 brush has some color on one side (see photo 4). It should not affect painting. The metal part of the size 24 brush has oil stains (see photo 5). Also, there are marks from the deteriorated rubber bands that were used to hold them on some of the handles. If you are not concerned about these minor details, please consider purchasing.
