The wooden box has a handle, making it convenient to carry. The drawers that store the pastels from the side cannot be pulled out when the case lid is closed. This prevents the pastels from falling out during transport. There are some scratches on the metal fittings, and there are dents in the cushioning on the underside of the lid.
