There is no discoloration, but the bag containing the placemat has some discoloration (see photo 2). The memo pad has a transparent cover on top, and the cover sparkles like a hologram and is cute. Please compare the size with the photo of my hand (see photo 3). There are 4 types of memo pad designs, and since there is no indication of the number of sheets, I have included a photo of the thickness (see photo 8).
