U.S. Vintage Dark Navy Chester Coat A vintage bespoke coat made with wonderful fabric, tailored by a tailor in Fall River, Massachusetts, a state with a long history in the textile industry. It appears to be a very old piece, dating from around 1933 to 1935, as it has an NRA tag inside the inner pocket. It's tailored from thick, old tweed. The fabric is heavy, so it has weight, but the tailoring is so good that you don't feel the weight when you wear it. This coat has a charm that modern coats don't have. It's a coat for cold regions, so it has high cold protection. The sleeves have a forward pitch, and the three-dimensional design clings to the body, providing a more relaxed fit than modern coats of the same dimensions. Shoulder width: 44cm Body width: 53cm Sleeve length: 61cm Length: 96cm The coat has been through nearly 100 years, but it's in good condition. There are two small, inconspicuous scratches on the fabric (shoulder area, lower right back), and there are repairs and small holes in the lining, but there is little wear on the sleeves and collar, and it's in good condition.
