The theoretical range of motion for the slide is 5mm. Please adjust with spacers, etc. The product includes everything in the second image. The third image shows the carbon parts to be used. Matching the cutting range allows you to swap with the separately sold 2-axis pivot slide damper or independent slide damper. These are unnecessary parts attached to the jig to make it easier to template and to secure the stay. You can assemble it as is if you don't cut off those parts. There are two ways to cut: mark and cut the stay with the jig attached, or cut with the jig attached directly. In either case, finish with a file at the end. A 100-yen store file is sufficient. The difference from the 2-axis is the range of motion. The 2-axis has more stability, but this one has more give. This one is also lighter and has a better recovery rate. However, the 2-axis has less wasted movement, so there is less resistance. So, if you prioritize speed, choose the 2-axis; if you prioritize recovery rate, choose this one.
