The 3C is still an extremely popular size, and I think it's an all-around mouthpiece that can be used in any genre, from orchestras to pop music and ensembles. It's a current model, but it is not LEAD FREE. There are some minor shank scratches, but there are no scratches or dents that would interfere with playing. I think it's in pretty good condition.
