This is a sake cup washer I purchased from an antique art dealer about 10 years ago. It's very well-made. It's crafted with care. The inside features Ebisu. He's fishing in a river. Cute little birds are flying. A scroll is partially visible in the blank space. Blue granules and geometric patterns, perhaps? The rim has a "mutual boar's eye" design. The figure on the outside is likely Sugawara no Michizane. Based on the Chinese poem, it seems to be the ninth day of the ninth month (one day after the Double Ninth Festival). It's a magnificent window. On the opposite side, there's a plum tree with beautiful branches. Judging from the color of the sky and the sun, it's probably evening. You can tell that a peaceful time is passing. There are no noticeable scratches or chips. Some crackling. There are some age-related scuffs. Please check the images carefully.
