This is a soft vinyl figure of the Big Mac Police from the Japanese McDonald's Happy Set, circa 1989. It's one of the McDonald's Family characters, along with the Hamburglar and Grimace, who have recently been rebooted in commercials. I obtained this figure around 1989 or 1990. Even among soft vinyl figures of that era, the quality is exceptionally high, with a remarkably detailed reproduction of the hamburger bun (bread) that makes you hungry (in my personal opinion). The total height is approximately 13cm. It's made of hard vinyl, so the tips of the toes make a clicking sound. The words "日本マクドナルド" (Japan McDonald's) are stamped on the sole of the foot, so it may not have been sold overseas. Since it hasn't been played with by small children, it's generally in good condition, but there is some age-related deterioration, such as paint peeling on the gloves.
