For sale: Recording King RP1-16C. I purchased this guitar used from an auction site. It's a model highly rated in reviews for its solid construction for the price, its playability thanks to the cutaway, and its excellent sound quality due to the solid torrefied Adirondack spruce top. It's also known as the instrument of choice for the American female singer, CAT CLYDE. An Adeline magnetic + condenser microphone pickup has been retrofitted, making it ready for live performances. I've used it quite a bit since I bought it, so it shows some signs of use, but apart from the dent in the ninth photo, it's in good condition with no noticeable scratches. I'm reluctantly selling it to organize my equipment, as I have too much now. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod works well. I use it for bottleneck playing, so I have it slightly forward-bowed, and I use medium gauge strings, but there have been no problems. Of course, it can be adjusted with the rod, but it's comfortable to use as is. The string height is approximately 2.0mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string and approximately 2.5mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string, in open D tuning. However, the strings are old, so please install your preferred gauge after purchase.
