This coin case is made from rare sharkskin, each piece with a unique appearance. The surface initially has a slightly napped texture, like nubuck, but as it ages, it begins to shine intensely, like a mineral. (Note!) The wine-red coin case in the photo is an aging sample (used for approximately 1 year) and is not included. As this is the work of a studio artist, not a commercial artist, duplicates are generally not made, so there are no aging samples of the exact same item. While standard models use regular YKK zippers, this model is produced as a high-end line and therefore uses a YKK Excella zipper.
