I received this as a gift recently, and I'm selling the box because I didn't want to throw it away. The string is attached, and there's adhesive tape that can be removed. However, the adhesive is weak, so if you want to secure it firmly, you may want to use double-sided tape or something similar. Everything in the pictures is included.
