These are now valuable Maruichi (丸一) "Seiguro" (背黒 - black back) mahjong tiles with family crest markings. The "Ittsu" (一筒 - one of circles) tile is in the shape of a family crest. These are original tiles from Mizuno Maruichi (ミズノ丸一). They were obtainable by selecting a desired family crest and sending in the application postcard that came with the Tenzan (天山) mahjong set. The beautiful "1 Sou" (1索 - one of bamboo) tile features a three-feather design. The "Spring," "Summer," "Autumn," and "Winter" tiles have gold lettering, giving them a luxurious feel.
