If you require damage insurance, please let us know before purchasing, as additional shipping charges will apply. ★ The terminals of lead wires often use copper alloys such as phosphor bronze because using ordinary soft copper can be too soft and cause poor contact during use. Therefore, if you try to force them in too hard, they can easily break off at the base. (Compared to copper, they are harder and less ductile, so they are more prone to breaking from impact.) Use pliers to gently insert the terminals, gripping the flat part of the terminal tip, or the flat part near the insertion point. Even unused, standard lead wires have different hole diameters at each end. Cartridges and headshells also have different mounting diameters depending on the manufacturer, so be careful as they can often break during installation. If it's too tight, widen the hole slightly before inserting. We have checked them thoroughly, and the terminals are harder than copper, so it is unlikely that they will break or deform during normal postal delivery. We have also tested them by dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they are usually fine unless intentionally damaged. Very rarely, there are cases where they are reported to be broken or deformed upon arrival, but as stated in the profile, if you require a guarantee, you will need to pay for shipping separately, so please let us know if you want to change the shipping method.
