【About the Watch】 ・This is a rare gold-cased ladies' pocket watch from Langendorf, a Swiss watchmaker that began operations in 1873. Luna is a brand from the Far East, primarily Japan. ・The case is of the type known as a "dedicated case," and an 18K hallmark is visible. A diamond is embedded in the center of the back cover, which is often seen in American ladies' pocket watches. Seiko-sha (now SEIKO) is a manufacturer that also sold similar dedicated cases. The movement is a 3/4 plate. ・Due to the gold being supplied for foreign currency acquisition, surviving dedicated gold-cased pocket watches are extremely rare. In fact, cases stripped from the movements are sometimes put up for auction. ・A catalog from the time is included as an accessory (see the red pencil mark in the last photo; it's unclear if it's for ladies' watches...).
