The patterns used in the samurai class's kamishimo (formal wear) and hakama (divided skirts), and kosode (kimono) during the feudal era are the origins of Nanbu Ancient Katazome. There are over 130 traditional patterns, and from pattern carving to dyeing and finishing, everything is done by hand, carefully dyed while preserving traditional techniques. With their simple yet warm designs, how about using them for tea time or entertaining guests?
