A regular grip is wrapped over the original grip. A dedicated case is not included; it will be shipped in cardboard and bubble wrap! As far as I can see, the damage is as shown in the photos. The head has edge guards, so there are no noticeable scratches, but there are some minor scratches and dirt. (There is also dirt in the gaps) This is from several years ago.
