You can select the desired patterns and combinations on the LCD screen with a backlight. It's very easy to use and a highly recommended sewing machine. There are no problems with its use, but there is some cloudiness on the screen, as shown in image 3. Otherwise, it's generally clean. I haven't had many opportunities to use it, so I've been storing it. I've checked the operation and test-sewn it for this listing. It has a memory function, zigzag stitching, and many other features.
