Purchased from an American antique shop. This is a popular McKee butter dish. It's from around the 1930s and was supposedly unused deadstock, but that's unconfirmed. Both the top and bottom are in such beautiful condition, and these are no longer available in America, or if they are, the good condition ones are very expensive. The white color with red yachts, anchors, and other marine patterns is very cute. As the photos show, the milk glass is smooth, shiny, and glossy, but as the photos also show, there are some chips on the bottom of the lid. They may not be very noticeable. There are also markings. For fans of McKee and Fire King, of course, but also for those unfamiliar with McKee and Fire King, it's cute and may be appealing.
