I have stored these for many years in a drawer of a cupboard along with other cutlery. I don't think I've used them much, but they are old items, so the frequency of use is unknown. Upon close inspection, there are scratches on the entire surface of the plastic case, as well as on the spoons, forks, and chopsticks, which were caused during storage.
