I purchased this flute new about 20 years ago at DAC in Shin-Okubo and used it for live performances and recordings. At the time of purchase, I tried out flutes from various manufacturers, but this one was exceptionally easy to play and had a warm tone, so I decided to buy it without hesitation. I am a saxophone performer and instructor, and I used this flute as a secondary instrument. It had good volume, recorded well with a microphone, and was easy to control, making it a great asset for jazz and pop music. About 3 years ago, I had the pads replaced and the balance adjusted for about 30,000 yen, and I haven't used it much since then. The sound is fine and it plays properly. I believe it's a very resonant instrument from low to high notes. Recently, I've decided to focus on the saxophone, so I've decided to sell it.
