This is a Vandoren V16 T9 mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. I purchased this at a nearby music store on the day of a live performance because I had forgotten my mouthpiece. I only used it on the day of the live performance. Since I had a mouthpiece patch on it, there are no noticeable scratches. I usually use an Otto Link Rubber EB model #8 and an Otto Link Metal STM #9. By the way, I paired it with V16 3.5 reeds. Compared to those, this mouthpiece has a brighter tone. Air flows through it smoothly, and it doesn't feel like a #9 opening. I felt that it required a little effort to produce subtones in the low register. I don't really recommend it for beginners, but I think it's a mouthpiece that will bring out the potential of others. I am used to Link mouthpieces, and I prefer a slightly darker tone, and I use subtones frequently, so I am selling it because I don't think I will use it much. Although it has only been used once, please understand that it is a used item. I am a non-smoker, and I do not have any pets. I will wrap it in air-cushion packaging and send it via Takkyubin Compact. Thank you.
