This is a wooden bear carving I received as a souvenir from Hokkaido over 30 years ago. It features a bear holding a salmon, a popular folk craft item from Hokkaido. On the underside of the base, it's inscribed with "New Home Blessing, June 16, 1991, From Parents." It has been stored in a box for many years and has some minor scratches and wear due to age, but overall, I think it's in good condition.
