Thank you very much for viewing. This is a used 2016 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959 ES-335 VOS. There are small dings, scratches, and some dirt on the hardware. Please consider it to be in player's condition. I purchased it used in 2017 and had it overhauled in 2025 at a reputable repair shop in Tokyo, confirming that there are no problems with the condition, including the neck. It has been stored in a room with dehumidification in the summer and humidification in the winter, hanging on a guitar hanger (with chamois leather wrapped around the hanger part). When I purchased it, I tried out about 10 different 335s that were in stock in Tokyo, and I bought this particular one because I felt it was exceptionally good. I feel it has a very warm and thick sound. * Frets: There are no dents that would interfere with playing. It's difficult to describe in words, so please refer to the photos. * Weight: 3824g (Please allow for slight variations) * The capacitors have been replaced with vintage Bumblebee capacitors at F Suger. The original capacitors that were removed are also included. * There are cracks in the knobs (they have never come off). * I will loosen the strings, put the guitar in a hard case, and ship the hard case in a cardboard box via Takkyubin (Yamato Transport). * I am a non-smoker. * Shipping will be via Sagawa Express. I have also purchased guitars many times without being able to try them out, and I understand the anxiety of buying a guitar based only on photos and descriptions. Please feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have. The following is an excerpt from the description provided by the musical instrument store where I purchased it: * Vintage-style hide glue is used for the neck joint. * The tailpiece studs use steel bolts that are about 3mm longer than those used in previous Historic Collections. * The increased contact area with the body transmits string vibrations more reliably, and the body resonance is fully reflected in the sound, producing sweeter, thicker overtones and sustain. * The truss rod has been changed from the conventional rubber tube type to a tubeless type, and the shape also follows the original vintage shape. * It is the ultimate 335, with attention to detail in every aspect, including the deep joint, the shape of the center block, and the newly installed Custom Bucker P.U.
