This is a bell for a large-bore tenor trombone made by S.E. Shires. It's a custom series bell, model number 7G (gold brass bell). The 7G bell is rare and hard to find. Model 7 is a two-piece bell that recreates the sound of a one-piece bell using a two-piece construction. The bell rim has solder around it. The 7 bell has a thinner bell flare compared to the 1 and 2 bells, providing excellent projection like a one-piece bell. Made of gold brass, it offers a balanced and flexible sound. It's characterized by a warm tone with a solid core. There is some lacquer bubbling in places, and it shows some signs of use, but overall, it's in good condition with no noticeable scratches or stains. Please check the photos for details. It will be shipped in a black semi-hard case (with a strap). Please note that the semi-hard case will be used as the outer packaging, and no additional packaging will be added.
