This is a reprint published in 1981 (Showa 56) of a book originally published in 1907 (Meiji 40), faithfully reproducing the original binding. It's an uncut edition, allowing you to experience the reading experience of the Meiji era by cutting open the pages one by one. This book is recommended for Soseki fans, as well as those who love Meiji literature and retro books. The outer box size (actual measurement) is 23.7 x 17.4 cm x 4.9 cm, with a total of 672 pages. Although it is an unused item, the outer box has yellowing and sun damage due to long-term storage. There is also slight soiling on the glassine paper that wraps the main body, and similar soiling can be seen on the edges of the book. There is age-related tanning inside, but overall it is in relatively good condition. (The photos were taken with some of the glassine paper removed to show the condition of the main body.)
