This is a sometsuke mukouzuke (small serving dish) in the style of Ko-Imari. It has the special mark of Morishodo. It has a rare pentagonal (five-sided) shape. Each side is carefully painted with pine, bamboo, waves, rabbits, and other designs. It is an elegant piece with patterns also applied to the inside. There is a small chip in one place on the bottom foot (see photo). Otherwise, there are no major cracks or chips, but there are some scratches and stains due to age, as it is an old item.
