Thank you for looking. Some of you may know them from TV, but these are mugs by Mashiko ceramic artists, Kotaro and Takako Okabe. I purchased them at Yamani in Mashiko over 10 years ago, and since I already had several others, I kept them stored without even opening the packaging. Both are unique pieces, so I think they would be enjoyable not only for use but also as interior decorations. =Description= Item 1 ・Mug cup with "Ganbare Macho!" (Go, Macho!), a representative motif of Kotaro Okabe. ・Color: Ochre base with dark brown polka dots, pink hearts. Unglazed. *The colors are more subdued and less saturated than in the photos. ・Height approx. 85mm, Weight 195g Item 2 ・Mug cup with cute, colorful dinosaurs playing, created with embossed coloring by Takako Okabe. ・Color: Off-white base with colorful red, blue, yellow, green, and salmon dinosaurs. Glazed. ・Height approx. 78mm, Weight 225g *As you can see in the photos, there are crazing marks on the glaze around the rim. I have not used them, so I have no further information.
