This is a hat-type hat from 〈coeur〉, purchased around 2010 at Marunouchi Arts & Science. It has recently been used as interior decoration in my room. I think it's a beautiful item with no noticeable damage and the dirt is not noticeable. The fabric is soft but firm black rabbit fur. Made in the Czech Republic. It's a type that can be folded up small, making it convenient to carry. It's stylish to wear it with a white T-shirt style, or even with a Champion Reverse Weave. The designer is Takayuki Kijima of KIJIMA TAKAYUKI. 〈coeur〉 was the predecessor brand of 〈KIJIMA TAKAYUKI〉, and it disappeared in 2013. He was involved in the hat production of ISSEY MIYAKE, Yohji Yamamoto, COMME des GARÇONS, and acquired European haute couture techniques. In 1995, he established an atelier in Daikanyama, Tokyo, and opened a directly managed store in 1999. At the atelier, skilled craftsmen carefully handcraft each product. There, a unique technique is used to create a soft and comfortable wearing feeling that cannot be achieved with mass production methods. Currently, in collaborations with UNDERCOVER, FACETASM, TOGA, TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The SoloIst, ARTS&SCIENCE, Hollywood Ranch Market, etc., they provide detailed methods of expression and traditional techniques through handwork.
