Ikawa Menpa D 5-piece set, round, made by Soji Unno ①② Lid, outer dimensions 11.5cm Body inner dimensions 10cm Overall height 5cm ③④ Lid, outer dimensions 13cm Body inner dimensions 11.5cm Overall height 6cm ⑤ Outer dimensions 14cm The bottom of ① and ③ have the mark of Soji Unno. ①② and ③④ can be combined and nested, but ⑤ can also be used as a lid and ④ can be combined. Originally, there should have been a ⑥ that would pair with ⑤, but it is not present. When it came into my possession, it was already in this state. Since ⑤ does not have Mr. Unno's mark, there is a possibility that the maker is someone else. Also, I feel that the lacquer finish is slightly different between ①② and ③④, so it is possible that they are using different pieces made by Mr. Unno as a nested set. Some parts of the lacquer finish are peeling off. ①② has peeling along the circumference, and the gloss is reduced (please be sure to check the images). ③④⑤ have little peeling and sufficient gloss, and I think they are in good condition. These items have been in a general household cupboard for many years. I have tried to take pictures so that you can see the condition well, but I apologize if there are any overlooked peeling or stains. I am also selling other Ikawa Menpa items.
