It developed as the official kiln of the Mori clan during the Edo period, and many kilns still carry on the techniques today. This item is a pair set of teacups from the Tenryu Kiln, and is in unused condition. It uses roughly fired, less-dense clay, and features a soft texture. It also has the charm of "Hagi's Seven Transformations," where the color changes the more it is used, allowing you to enjoy it for a long time. The "waridai" (split foot) can be seen on a part of the foot, and the design is typical of Hagi-yaki.
