This is a short, technical trout rod suitable for ajing (Japanese horse mackerel fishing), small ponds, and stream areas. I used it for catching about 30cm sea bass with a 1000-size reel, PE 0.3 braid, and a 1-gou (4lb) fluorocarbon leader. It was used almost exclusively in freshwater streams.
