This is a tea chest (chabitsu) from Yamanaka Lacquerware. Dimensions (measured by an amateur): Lid: Diameter 35cm, Height 5.5cm Body: Diameter 32cm, Height 12cm Almost unused, but there is some dirt from storage (photo 8, white area in the center). Also, the wooden box's glued parts are coming apart (photo 9, top and bottom two places).
