Since the material is denim, I think it's better for walking around town rather than the beach. I think the weight is on the lighter side. I received this as a novelty item previously. It is new, but there are some areas on the side where the adhesive has discolored due to being stored at home. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this. I would like to give it to you along with the carrying net.
