Purchased during a visit to Akishino-dera Temple in Nara City. The visit was on December 23, 1994. It is in good condition with no stains. Size: 30cm tall, 21cm wide. Inside the main hall, the temple's namesake, Gigiten, is enshrined. Gigiten is a celestial maiden said to have been born from the hair of Shiva, an Indian god, while he was playing a musical instrument. She is also designated as an Important Cultural Property. Because of her beautiful appearance and outstanding skills in dance and music, she is believed to have the virtue of achieving various arts, and is deeply revered by those in the entertainment industry, artists, and creators.
