Showa-era dolls and commercially available kagami mochi (rice cakes). These are New Year's decorations. The doll's kimono has embroidered fabric inside. The outside is hand-painted with a lovely vermilion color. The kagami mochi was purchased from a shop. It is a used item. The New Year's decorations were purchased from a shop and are unused. The bamboo included in the decorations is made from cut chasen (tea whisks) that resemble kadomatsu (pine decorations). Please display them for the New Year. The zabuton (cushion) is handmade.
