They have a ripstop structure, making them durable, lightweight, and easy to store when folded. They are full-open type with Velcro, so you can put them on and take them off while wearing shoes. The top is secured with a nylon belt and a one-touch buckle, which can be easily adjusted and will not loosen after adjustment. The bottom is secured with a fiber-reinforced nylon belt, triple-stitched to the main fabric. Unlike cheaper gaiters, even if the stitching comes undone, they can still be used for a while, providing peace of mind.
