This guitar features a body made of Tochigi wood, a popular Japanese wood. The top is selected from pieces with beautiful flame figuring, and the back also uses Tochigi wood. It has a moderately solid tone with bright and clear low-mid to mid frequencies, and is characterized by a pleasant sound that resonates from a low center of gravity. When used for bass, it excels in mellow genres such as jazz and vocal music. It features pickups from "Mojotone," a hand-wiring pickup manufacturer in North Carolina, USA, using Alnico 5 magnets and fiber bobbins. Precise adjustments have been made to maintain a balance of volume and tone quality between the rear and front pickups.
